While building the online strategy for Access Health Colorado in the individual marketplace, I oversaw the design and development of an application that allowed those without insurance to sign-up for plans online. This included a full suite of tools which aid the user in choosing plans, carriers, and paying their premiums online. This was completed with nationwide vendors, and an internal development team.
As Web Manager at Colorado Access, I have worked on a variety of projects. Aside from just leading web development projects, I have also taken the lead of developing the new company intranet, cohesive brand strategy, and working with the state to define web standards for our Medicaid and CHP+ members.
Legal Graphicworks is a company which produces courtroom videos and motion graphics for trials. I was presented with the project when LGW was just a small company with a single web page. The site was built using Joomla originally and later converted over to Wordpress, where it's now maintained. The project involved design of the initial template in Photoshop, building with the Joomla CMS system, and then an eventual conversion to Wordpress.

Slip Doctors in Austin, TX was one of the first web projects I worked on back in 2006. They were a small company that needed everything from a logo to an e-commerce website. I worked directly with the CEO and COO to create an appealing logo and packaging design for their products. Eventually we built a small e-commerce website for their products, which are sold all over the world to corporations and governments to aid in the process of keeping floors safe during cleaning.
Conceptual site design built in Photoshop and put into a Joomla CMS system.
Having been in charge of many email marketing campaigns using many different platforms, I am efficient with most email software. Mobile design has changed a great deal over the past 5 years. In the past I've built mobile sites from the ground up with CSS, now there's a great deal of focus on responsive design which has made web development much more streamlined for mobile and full-site architechture.
This portfolio website you're currently viewing is an example of responsive design.
